The Big XII Conference this week named Oklahoma junior defensive end Jeremy Beal (#44) the Defensive Player of the Week for Week 12. Beal was a dominant force for the Sooners in their victory over 4th ranked Nebraska in Lincoln (31-28). Beal had 11 tackles, three of them for a loss along with 3 sacks.
