Sooner Recruiting Round Up, Post #2

Today the Sooners received a hard committment from fullback Maurice Ralph. Ralph is rated as a one-star recruit at the fullback position by EA Sports' recruiting service (FB40). Ralph comes to the Sooners from Mehlville, MO. The 6'1" 255 pound player knows he'll likely redshirt in 2010 and will have a hard time surpassing probable 2010 starter Buck Buchanan on the depth chart. Buchanan is redshirting this season as Matt Clapp finishes out his eligibility. Ralph gave his verbal committment today to OU assistant coach Cale Gundy who recruited him out of Mehlville High School. The Sooner Nation welcomes Maurice Ralph to the family.
