Sooner Recruiting Round Up, Post #6

9/4/09--SoonerWorld.com is reporting news in the area of recruiting for the Sooner football team. The website posted information today saying Katy, TX MLB Rufus Lumpkin now has the Sooners as his top school, surpassing his previous top school, Florida State. They quote sources close to Lumpkin as saying "Lump is ticked that Bowden hasn't offered him yet. He feels disrespected. Oklahoma is the new top school. He'd love to be a Sooner." EA Sports' recruiting service has Lumpkin as the 5th best MLB in the nation and has him as a four star prospect. He also holds a scholarship offer from Oklahoma State, among others.

SoonerWorld is also reporting the committment of Ennis, TX athlete Justin Jenkins to Texas A&M. They note in their story that sources with ties to the Sooner coaching staff say the school has taken Jenkins off their board of prospects due to his hard committment to the Aggies.
