Sooner Recruiting Round Up, Post #9

Norman, OK--SoonerWorld.com reported on their website early this morning that the Sooners have earned another commitment for the Class of 2010. The newest addition to the class is said to be middle linebacker Larry Dortch, of Atlanta, GA. Dortch (6'1", 218lbs) is the third middle linebacker to commit to the Sooners this recruiting season. The others are: Rufus Lumpkin (4*, Katy, TX) and Derek Triplett (3*, Sandusky, OH). Dortch is rated by EA Sports' recruiting service as the #16 middle linebacker in the country and the 276th best player overall. EA has him as a 3* prospect. Dortch is expected to be the last linebacker the Sooners will take this year. They are expected to continue to trying to build depth at defensive tackle, guard and one other position that is unclear at this time.
