Cyclones Fizzle Out, Lose by 55

Norman, OK--If there was a sports writer, sports radio personality or fan of either team that picked Iowa State to win this game, well, that person might need to be checked out at their local psychiatric hospital because this game was over before it began. To sum it up, Oklahoma was up 30-3 at the half then went on to score 28 more in the second half. The final score of 58-3 could have been worse but the Sooners put in back-ups and got the game over with.
The win moves Oklahoma to 4-2 overall and 2-1 in the Big XII. ISU moves to 1-5 overall and 0-3 in conference. The Sooners move on to face an undefeated Colorado team next week in Norman while Iowa St. faces Texas Tech in Ames.

Game Notes:

The Sooners led in 1st downs (28-9), total offense (592-224), passing yards (540-139) while ISU led in turnovers (4-0). The Players of the Game were: Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma (36-45 passing for 444 yards with 3 TD's and no INT's) and D. Sims for ISU (18 tackles).
