Oklahoma All-Time Records Fall in '10

Norman, OK--In this mostly disappointing season for the Sooners, many records were broken on the offensive side of the ball. The records broken were:





Passing Yards in a Game:
572--Sam Bradford v. Texas A&M, 10/30/10 (Previous Record: 476, Bradford, Texas, 10/2/10)

Passing Yards in a Season:
5030--Sam Bradford: This passes the previous record of 4720, set by Bradford in 2008. Bradford still has the Holiday Bowl on 12/30/10 to add to his total.

Passing Yards in a Career:
15,659--Sam Bradford: This crushes the next highest all-time amount of 7922 set by Jason White from 1999-2004. Bradford still has the Holiday Bowl on 12/30/10 to add to his total.

Receiving Yards in a Game:
216--Ryan Broyles v. Iowa St., 10/9/10 (Previous record: 206, Manuel Johnson, TCU, 2008)

Receiving Yards in a Season:
1479--Jameel Owens: This passes the previous record of 1425 by Mark Clayton in 2003. Owens still has the Holiday Bowl on 12/30/10 to add to his total.
