Sooner Recruiting Round Up, Post #5

As the Sooners enter the back stretch of their season and the games become more and more critical, the Sooner recruiting machine continues to run at full strength. This week the Sooners land another recruit for the 2010 class. He is:

***Maurice Bolden, DT (Balanced) from Concord, MO. Bolden is rated as the 26th best defensive tackle by EA Sports' recruiting service. The Sooners went after Bolden to provide depth for next season and seasons to come. He is raw and a bit undersized but line coach Jay Norvell is known as being one of the best at taking raw talent and making them into players that will contribute to many Sooner wins. Bolden is expected to redshirt in 2010 as he plays behind the likes of Adrian Taylor, Stacy McGee and Jamarkus McFarland. It's expected the Sooners will lose All-American tackle Gerald McCoy (Jr.) to the NFL draft after this season. Also leaving will be seniors DeMarcus Granger (often injured starter) and Cordero Moore (reserve).
